Selected by the Smithsonian Events Committee to assist with the groundbreaking ceremony, C. Forbes designed limited edition cufflinks depicting an image of the National Museum of African American History & Culture. The ceremony was attended by then- President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and former First Lady Laura Bush. Recipients of the custom cufflinks were attendees and donors at the ceremony held on the National Mall in 2012. Four years later, as the project came full circle, our company was honored to design and produce a custom medallion for the museum’s official Grand Opening ceremony in the Fall of 2016.
