C. Forbes, Inc. is honored to once again help commemorate the recipient of the National Aeronautic Association’s Robert J. Collier Trophy. This year’s recipient, of this over 100 year old trophy, is the Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation with their newest development of the Gulfstream G650 business jet. C. Forbes, Inc.’s enthusiasm towards observing great advancements of American products has driven us to produce two more beautiful pieces for the NAA that include both a lapel pin and a custom commemorative coin depicting the Gulfstream 650.
The NAA, National Aeronautic Association, is an American aviation club dedicated to the advancement of flight. Each year the NAA selects a recipient for their Robert J. Collier Trophy that embodies the most efficient, safe, and valuable advancement in design and manufacturing techniques in the preceding year. Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation has no doubt fulfilled these requirements with their latest production of the Gulfstream G650—the first aircraft of its kind to travel 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.85, making it the fastest civilian-aircraft in the world.
The Gulfstream G650 is depicted on both our coin card and our lapel pin in recognition of its most recent achievements of performance as a business jet. This jet no doubt embodies Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation’s pledge towards modern day aeronautic innovation. Gulfstream Aerospace Association, headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, is the world’s leading engineer team of business aircraft and proudly brags about its American heritage.
